Ableton Live Random Key & Tempo

Get a starting point for your next project - click the dice to generate a random key and tempo.

For Live 12 users, this will also update your project's tempo and key.

Place this device on Master/Main and save into your default set to have it ready to go for every new project.

There are two versions available:

• Full version requires Live 12 - generate random key and tempo, and sync with your project's key and tempo
• Live 11-compatible version - generate a random key for you to see within the device only

Thanks to ELPHNT for help using the Live 12 API to sync changes with the project tempo and key :)

Quick start

1. Open a new set
2. Download the .amxd file
3. Drag the file anywhere into your User Library
4. Drag from your User Library onto your Master (Live 11) or Main (Live 12) track
5. Choose File > Save Live Set as Default Set
6. Now, every new set you create will have this device ready to go :)
