Ableton Live Noise Transitions

Simple noise transition generator rack.

Quick start

1. Double click the .alp file to unpack the project into Ableton Live.
2. Switch to Arrangement view and play the clip in the first MIDI track. You should hear a simple white noise riser.
3. Note the rack in the chain list: Noise Transitions
4. Adjust the attack time depending on your transition duration. Tip - you can select a duration of time in Arrangement view and then see the duration in the status bar at the bottom of Live. Use this to accurately dial in the attack duration (e.g. 2.4s in the screenshot below).

   

5. Once you have this working, you can right-click on the track and choose Freeze & Flatten.
6. If you like this, drag the "Noise Transition" rack into your User Library to keep and use later!
